Advantages of Primer 1206
- Strong Adhesion: Ensures excellent grip on wood, polyester laminates, or machinable fillers.
- Optimized Rheology: Delivers a smooth and even surface finish.
- Easy to Sand: Simplifies surface preparation processes. Give the possibility to obtain after polishing a semi glossy surface (satin) and make molding on it possible.
For optimal results, Primer 1206 should be used at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C, with humidity levels below 80%. Before use, it is essential to re-homogenize the product using a mixer suited to the container size and at moderate speed. Stop mixing approximately 20 minutes before application. No dilution is required — simply catalyze with 1% to 2% MEKP 50.
The surface must be clean and free from contaminants (dust, grease, etc.). Prepare the surface by sanding with grit 100 to 180. We recommend a spray thickness of 400 to 800 microns. Sanding can begin after 60 minutes.
Store the product in its original sealed container, away from sunlight, in a cool (~20°C), preferably ventilated area. Under these conditions, the product retains its properties for 4 months from the production date.
Euromere’s Primer 1206 is the ideal solution for model making, offering significant advantages in adhesion, rheology, and sanding ease. For more information, feel free to contact us.
